2018 Graduation Details

East Bladen High School 

Graduation is on Saturday, June 16 at 10:00 a.m. in East Bladen's main gymnasium.  

Seniors must arrive at East Bladen by 8:00 a.m. and report to the auxiliary gymnasium.  Doors for graduation will open at 8:30 a.m. and close promptly at 9:55 a.m.   No one will be permitted once doors are closed.  Each senior will receive four admission tickets for guests. Admittance by ticket only; birth to 110 years old. 

This is an important day for ALL seniors, and ALL seniors deserve to be recognized and celebrated. Guests are allowed to silently stand when their graduate's name is called. Cheering or yelling guests will be escorted out of the gymnasium. There will be a celebratory time after all graduates' names are called. 


West Bladen High School 

West Bladen High School will celebrate its commencement exercises for the 201 member Class of 2018 on Friday, June 15, 2018, at 6:00 p.m. in the Knight Main Gymnasium.  

A live camera feed will be shown in the Knight Auxiliary Gymnasium (behind the Main Gym).  

Admission to both gymnasiums is by TICKET ONLY; everyone from birth to 110 years of age must have a ticket to enter.  Doors open at 4:30 p.m.; seniors should arrive by 5:00 p.m. with their cap, tassel, gown, sash, and school-designated cords and go to the cafeteria for lineup; all guests must be inside and seated by 5:55 p.m. when admission doors will be LOCKED.  Seniors will march in at exactly 6:00 p.m.  

The 2018 WBHS Class Officers are President Allie Marsh, Vice-President Cierra Byrd, Secretary Erika Brigman, and Treasurer Elizabeth Allbright. 

Speakers for the graduation ceremony include Valedictorian Anna Moser, Salutatorian Cierra Byrd, Class President Allie Marsh, Assistant Superintendent of Bladen County Schools Dr. Tanya S. Head, and West Bladen High School Principal Peggy J. Hester.
