At their pot-luck Thanksgiving Luncheon held at the administration building, Bladen County Schools district office staff held a canned food/non-perishable food drive for the Bladen Crisis Assistance, Bladen County's local food bank. Approximately five boxes of food was donated by the office staff.  Several Bladen County Schools are also holding a canned food drive, such as the Keyettes at East Bladen High School.

Bladen County Schools Superintendent Dr. Robert Taylor and Assistant Superintendent Tanya Head delivered the boxes of food to the Crisis Assistance Center.
