Bladen County Schools has been monitoring Hurricane Irma and its path throughout the week. While it is still too early to make a prediction we are communicating daily through emails, conference calls, webinars, and face-to-face with meteorologist from the National Weather Service out of Wilmington and with local emergency management personnel regarding any potential impact that may affect Bladen County. We are ready and prepared to respond in the event of localized impacts from the hurricane.  We are not making any decisions regarding school closure at this time. We will continue to gather the best, most timely information available before making any decision to delay, release, or close our schools.
