Please Be Patient-Student Driver

  • Prior to submitting your registration, please read the following:

    1. Potential Driver Education students must be at least 14 ½ years of age on or before the first day of their chosen Driver Education Class.
    2. You must complete a 2 step registration process:
      1. Submit the Google Registration Form (found below)
      2. Submit your $65 registration fee by using the PayPal link. Payment will only be accepted online.
    3. The classroom portion of Driver Education is held online.
    4. Appropriate hour requirements must be met in order to successfully complete the classroom and behind the wheel portions of Driver Education.
    5. Students who are dismissed from and/or do not successfully complete driver education class due to behavior, attendance problems, or failure to complete work in a timely manner will not be allowed to take driver education a second time through Bladen County Schools.
    6. Registration closes when classes are full.
    7. Each class must have a minimum of 25 students. If the minimum participation is not met, the class may be postponed until it is filled. 
    8. Please refer to the chart linked below to determine your eligibility to enroll in Bladen County Schools Driver Education.

  • Upcoming Driver Education Classes

    All classes will meet online on weekdays (excluding holidays). The time of the class will be communicated to the registered students by their Driver Education Instructor. 

    March 13-24, 2023

How to Register

  • In order to complete your Driver Education registration, you must complete the 2-step registration process. 

    1. Complete and Submit the Google Registration Form found at this link: Registration is Closed.
    2. After submitting your Google Registration Form, an invoice for a payment of $65 will be sent to the email address provided on the Google Registration Form. In order to complete your Driver Education Registration, you must submit the $65 payment through that invoice.

Obtaining Your Driver's Eligibility Certificate

  • In order to obtain your Driver's Eligibility Certificate, you must complete the following steps:

    1. Successfully complete the classroom portion of Driver Education
    2. Successfully complete the Behind the Wheel Portion of Driver Education
    3. Obtain a Driver's Eligibility Certificate from the appropriate entity (please refer to chart above)
    4. Upon issue, the Driver Eligibility Certificate is valid for 30 days.
