Bladen County Schools (BCS) continues to see positive academic growth in the 2023-2024 school year, with 83% of schools meeting or exceeding expected growth, up from 75% the previous year.
Bladen County Schools has been recognized for its outstanding performance in the NC Teacher Working Conditions Survey achieving the highest percentage in two of the eleven categories among all school districts in North Carolina.

Bladen County Schools kicked off the 2024-2025 academic year with enthusiastic participation from students, families, and staff during Open House events at all traditional calendar schools. The energy was palpable as the schools welcomed back their communities for another exciting year of learning and growth.
