Welcome Letter

Students and Families,

Welcome to the 2025–2026 school year! It is with great excitement and a deep sense of purpose that I welcome each of you to a new year of learning, growth, and opportunity in Bladen County Schools.

As we begin this journey together, I want to express my gratitude to our students, families, educators, and community partners for your continued commitment to our shared vision. Your support and dedication are the foundation of the strong and caring learning community we are building.

This year, we are proud to continue our focus on student leadership through our work with the Leader in Me initiative. By nurturing the leadership potential within every child, we empower our students to take ownership of their learning, set meaningful goals, and make a positive impact in their schools and communities. We believe that every student has the ability to lead—starting with themselves and expanding their influence through collaboration, responsibility, and service.

Our commitment to academic excellence, innovation, and well-being remains stronger than ever. Whether through rigorous instruction, expanded extracurricular offerings, or our safe and supportive learning environments, we are dedicated to preparing every student for success in a rapidly changing world.

As we move forward, I encourage you to stay actively involved in our schools—attend events, volunteer, connect with your child’s teachers, and celebrate milestones together. Your voice matters, and your engagement helps shape the learning experience for all students.

Together, let’s make this a year filled with purpose, progress, and possibility. Let’s lead, learn, and grow—side by side.

Thank you for being an essential part of the Bladen County Schools family. I look forward to all we will accomplish in the months ahead.

With gratitude and optimism,
