Welcome to a new school year with a new School Counselor. My name is V. Michelle Soles. I’m happy to be a part of the team at The home of the Bulldogs. At BMS we like to have fun while we learn. We aim to create a welcoming, safe learning environments for all students to reach their highest achievements academically, social/emotionally and working toward college and career readiness development.

BMS is a Bully Free Zone with Zero Tolerance against Bullying. We realize that middle school can be extremely challenging as students are growing, developing and seeking a since of belonging among their peers. BMS expectations are governed by our PBIS Bulldog BARK Matrix which outlines how students are to conduct themselves: B Be There, Be Ready, A Always Respectful, R Represent by Responsibility and K Know Your Part…

This pandemic has brought about new fears and anxiety in everyone, so please be aware of your children emotions and any new changes and challenges they may be going through. Don’t hesitate to seek early intervention. That may look different for each family… Mental Health Matters!!!  You can start with your children pediatricians for referrals. Parents, please remember to take time for yourselves and do a self-care check-in.
