Mrs. Sherry Autry began her teaching career at Orrum Middle School in January of 1995. In August of 1995 she began teaching at her alma mater, Bladenboro High School. She transitioned to West Bladen High School (after the closing of BHS) in 2002.  Mrs. Autry is the advisor for the West Bladen High School Marshals and the Fellowship of Christian Athletes (FCA).

Ms. Demia Bolden is a math teacher at West Bladen. She served as a graduate teacher assistant and mathematics department tutor at Elizabeth City State University in 2016-2017.  Ms. Bolden began teaching at West Bladen in 2017-2018. 

Mr. Hemingway is a member of the mathematics department at West Bladen High School.  He is also involved in the coaching of basketball.

Mrs. Jill Smith began her teaching career as a high school math teacher at Tar Heel Middle-High School in 1999. She transferred to West Bladen High School in 2002, when it was opened. She has taught Math I and Math II. Mrs. Smith served as the chairperson for the Schools that Work committee in 2018-2019. 

As a lateral entry teacher, Mr. Wayne Young began his teaching career as a middle school math teacher.  The remainder of his career has been spent teaching high school level mathematics.
