Mrs. Allen is a Pender County native but has called Bladen County home since 1992. She holds a BA in Communications from UNC-Chapel Hill. Her education certification studies were completed at UNC-P. She and her husband have one son.

Mrs. Allen teaches American History I & II, and is approved to teach AP US History.

Mrs. Beard is a Bladen County native.She holds a BA in History from UNC-Pembroke. She and her husband have four sons and one daughter. She also has three grandchildren. Mrs. Beard teaches World History & Civics and Economics.
