Students Place in Fayetteville State University Art Contest
Fayetteville State University recently sponsored an art contest for students in grades PreK through 5th grade. The contest was open to all public school students and was held in recognition of and to celebrate American Education Week.
This years’ theme was Great Public Schools: A Basic Right and Our Responsibility.
Bladen County Schools is pleased to announce that four students, two which were from Dublin Primary School, were chosen as the top three winners. These winners were chosen based upon their artistic talents and the ability to communicate the theme. Additionally, the top 10 art entries were on display in the lobby of the Seabrook Auditorium in November.
Bladen County Schools’ art teacher Kalah Magruder instructed the students.
Nazir Campbell from Dublin Primary School won 3rd place in the 4th & 5th-grade category
Christopher Rorick from Dublin Primary School won 2nd place in the 2nd & 3rd-grade category
