BBM 5th grade to transition to remote-only
Good evening Bladenboro Middle School 5th grade families, this is Valerie Newton calling with an important update regarding the school.
Due to a significant increase in the number of COVID-19 cases and close contact cases in the 5th grade at Bladenboro Middle School, the superintendent is recommending that 5th-grade teachers ad students transition to remote only learning starting Monday, November 16. Students will need to log in to their Google Classroom account to connect with their teachers and complete their class assignments.
To ensure the health and safety of our students and staff, 5th-grade teachers and students will be in remote only learning for a minimum of two weeks, and children and staff should stay home. We anticipate 5th-grade will return to in-person learning on November 30.
Once again, all 5th-grade students and teachers will transition to remote-only teaching and learning beginning on Monday, November 16.
We will be in regular communication with our families during this transition and will continue to update our website and social media sites with the latest information. If you have any questions or concerns, please contact the school office.
