February 3, 2021, at 6:30 PM: Good evening Bladen County Schools’ families, this is Valerie Newton with two quick, but important messages.

Firstly, this Friday, February 5 is an optional teacher workday and students will not participate in live instruction. Also, we will not be running our meal delivery by bus program on Friday.

Secondly, after the Governor’s recent press conference to return students to in-person learning, we are working towards updating our reopening plans for schools. Beginning tomorrow, February 4 through next Wednesday, February 10 teachers will call parents, asking four brief questions concerning your preferences for in-person or remote learning. Please be on the lookout for a phone call from your child’s teacher or school.
