New Key Members Wanted, Can Food Drive for November

The West Bladen Key Club is kicking off a can food drive and launching a new member's drive. Please help spread the word.

Key Club is an international, student-led organization that provides its members with opportunities to provide service, build character, and develop leadership. If you are a high school student at West Bladen High School and would like to join the Key Club, please email kiwanisbladen@gmail.com to RSVP for the next virtual meeting.

The West Bladen Key Club meeting will be held online via Zoom on Wednesday, November 4 at 2 p.m. West and East Bladen High School Key Club members will meet together to discuss the current can food drive. Bladen County high schools will work together this year to help stock the local food pantries for the holidays.

Students are asked to bring canned food to school during the whole month of November. A blue and purple box will be located at each school for the collection. Pop-top can foods, (spaghetti, ravioli, soups), mac and cheese, instant grits, oatmeal, pop-tarts, juice boxes, breakfast bars, can fruit, peanut butter crackers, and other food items are desired for the drive.
The food will be distributed to local food pantries.
