As the school year comes to a close, we encourage districts and schools to share the Summer Learning Activities and Literacy at Home (DCRI) resources with families to support continued learning throughout the summer months.
These resources provide engaging opportunities for students to practice skills and maintain academic momentum while school is out of session. They are designed to support learning at home and help families incorporate meaningful educational experiences into everyday routines.
The Summer Learning Activities offer grade-level learning experiences that encourage reading, writing, mathematics, and critical thinking, while the DCRI resources provide additional opportunities to foster literacy development and family engagement.
