The last day of school East Arcadia School closed its doors for the last time— and what a beautiful way to say goodbye.

On June 4, students, families, community members, former staff, and elected officials gathered to celebrate the end of a remarkable school year and the end of an era for East Arcadia School.

The event was filled with pride as students were recognized for their academic achievements throughout the 25–26 school year. A special moment was reserved for East Arcadia's 5th grade class, the school's final graduating group, who were honored for their hard work, growth, and resilience.

But the celebration went beyond grades and milestones. It was a reunion of generations. Familiar faces filled the room, former teachers and staff who poured their hearts into this school, community members who have cheered these students on for years, and local leaders who came to pay their respects to a place that has meant so much to so many.

East Arcadia School may be closing, but its legacy lives on in every student it helped shape, every family it supported, and every community tie it strengthened.

Thank you to everyone who showed up, shared memories, and helped us honor this community landmark the right way.
