The Bladen County Schools Board of Education met Monday morning in a special called meeting and approved two key items.

The Board approved a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) regarding School Resource Officers (SROs), covering the 2025-26 and 2026-27 school years. This agreement is a required step in the district's application for grant funding to support SRO positions in our schools.

The Board also approved summer 2026 custom policy updates as recommended by the NC School Boards Association.
