Elizabethtown Middle School Families,

I am Bobby Godwin and I am proud to be able to return to Elizabethtown Middle School for the third year as your principal.  It is hard to believe that summer is already over and another school year is upon us. I look forward to seeing all of you return for another great year, and to welcoming all of our incoming 5th grade students.  Together we will continue to grow as leaders, and build upon our successes.  

At Elizabethtown Middle School we are committed to fostering a safe and inclusive learning environment, where we empower students and teachers to grow in the 7 habits of “Leader in Me” in order to become prepared leaders for future success.  We are growing into a school where everyone learns, leads, shows kindness, makes responsible choices, and works together with respect.  By working together to live this mission and vision we will help every member of the cougar family reach their full potential. 

Our faculty and staff are excited for what this school year will bring, and what will happen when we learn, lead, and grow together.  The sky is the limit to what can be accomplished this year, and it is sure to be the best year yet!
