Yesterday our PGC Leaders participated in a fun skill-building activity focused on communication and teamwork. One partner was blindfolded while the other guided them step-by-step to recreate a simple drawing. The result: lots of laughs, stronger communication skills, and a great reminder of how important clear instructions and active listening can be.

Making the most of every minute! 🏗️✨

While the ACTs had our usual schedule a bit "displaced," Ms. Faircloth’s class turned that time into a major team-building win! Students were challenged to build the tallest tower possible using only index cards. 🃏

It’s amazing what can be built when you work together! Check out these future engineers in action. 👷‍♂️👷‍♀️

Ms. Kinlaw’s Foods 1 students had a blast whipping up delicious chocolate and confetti pancakes today. There’s no better way to learn culinary skills than with a stack of sweets!

What is Shrove Tuesday? Often known as "Pancake Tuesday," it is the traditional day of feasting before the start of Lent. Historically, it was the last opportunity to use up rich ingredients like eggs, sugar, and butter before the fasting season begins—and our students certainly put those ingredients to good use!

🌟💙 West Bladen FFA Meeting Recap! 💛🌟
What a GREAT afternoon at West Bladen FFA!
Our members kicked things off with official opening ceremonies, followed by chapter updates and important announcements. Then it was time to roll up our sleeves and get to work sharpening those CDE & LDE skills!
Students rotated through hands-on practice stations including:
🐮 Livestock Judging – Placing classes of beef steers, dairy heifers, and market hogs
🥚 Poultry Judging – Grading eggs like true industry professionals
🎤 Extemporaneous Speaking – Crafting and delivering a 15-second speech on the spot
📜 Creed Activity – Building confidence and presentation skills
🐛 Pest ID – Identifying common pests and strengthening ag knowledge

The best part? The camaraderie, team building, laughter, and watching students encourage one another. These moments are what FFA is all about — growing leaders, building confidence, and learning by doing.
So proud of our Knights stepping up and putting in the work! 💪🌾
