📚 Student-Led Conferences: Empowering Learners to Lead Their Own Growth 🌟

Yesterday, students across Bladen County Schools took the lead during our Student-Led Conferences — sharing their progress, goals, and achievements directly with their families. These conferences encourage students to reflect on their learning, celebrate their successes, and take ownership of their academic and personal growth.

We’re proud of our students for showing confidence, leadership, and responsibility, and we’re grateful to the families who joined in support of their learning journey. Together, we’re building leaders for life—one goal, one conversation at a time. 💙💛

💚 Recognizing World Mental Health Day 💚 On Friday, we wore green in recognition of World Mental Health Day — a reminder that caring for our mental health is an important part of caring for ourselves and one another. This year’s theme focuses on the importance of mental health care during and after times of crisis, but its message extends far beyond emergencies. Every day, we can take steps to build supportive, compassionate communities where everyone feels valued and heard. Thank you to our staff for helping raise awareness and showing that it’s okay to talk about mental health — and to ask for help when it’s needed. 💚

The image shows a healthcare setting where a caregiver is providing foot care to a patient lying in bed. The caregiver is wearing gloves (pink in color) and is focused on washing or cleaning the patient’s feet using a basin. The patient looks relaxed and is lying on a hospital-style bed with purple sheets and white towels for cleanliness and comfort. Nearby, on a bedside table, there are pump bottles—likely soap and lotion—used for hygiene and skin care. This appears to be a training or clinical environment, possibly a nursing or caregiver skills lab, given the setup and attention to hygiene and proper technique.
