Thank you to Four County EMC and Carolina Thomas Buses for hosting an EV Fire and Emergency Safety Training. This training is instrumental in ensuring our transportation team, school administrators with electric buses, and local emergency responders are prepared for the school year ahead!

Congratulations to Coach Travis Pait!

Pait has been selected by the North Carolina Coaches Association (NCCA) to serve as head basketball coach for the 2027 NCHSAA East All-Star Team.

The East-West All-Star Basketball Games for both men’s and women’s teams will be held on July 20, 2027, at the Greensboro Coliseum Complex’s Novant Health Fieldhouse. Games are at 6:30 and 8:30 p.m.

Notice of Special Called Meeting The Bladen County Board of Education will hold a special called meeting on Monday, June 29, at 6 PM, for the purpose of discussing and taking action regarding the following items: Plain View and East Arcadia School Properties; Lawn Care Services Contract for the 2026-2027 School Year; School Resource Officers for 2026-2027, Student Code of Conduct for 2026-2027, and to go into closed session to discuss personnel, as per NCGS 143.318.11 (a) (1), to consult with an attorney, if needed, as per NCGS 143.318.11 (a) (3), and to return to open session to take action on personnel matters. The meeting will be held in the board room at the District Administration Building.
