Inference is an important reading skill that asks readers to use clues either from the text or personal background knowledge to figure out something the author doesn’t directly state. The EPS Detectives 🔍 put this to practice, carefully investigating the library “crime scenes” for clues and evidence to solve the case!
👏 Awesome job to the EPS Media Coordinator for making learning fun!

From listening and sharing ideas to asking questions and learning from one another, classroom conversations help our students build confidence, curiosity and a sense of belonging.
We’re grateful for teachers who create welcoming spaces where every student has an opportunity to learn, participate and grow. 📚✨

We are excited to highlight Bladenboro Primary's Infusion Inclusion Drink Cart💙🥤
Through the drink cart, students gain valuable hands-on, real-world skills as they learn to prepare specialty sodas and iced coffees for school staff. ☕️🥤
But the learning doesn’t stop there! Students also have the opportunity to practice communication, teamwork, responsibility, and social skills as they deliver orders and interact with staff throughout the school.
Even better, all proceeds from the drink cart go directly to the PTA, whose generous support helped make this incredible learning opportunity possible. We are so thankful for a PTA that believes in creating meaningful opportunities for ALL of our students! 💙
Way to go, Bladenboro Primary! 💙🥤

Superintendent Jason Atkinson and Deputy Superintendent Ann Brown met with Michelle Fisher from the American Heart Association to discuss the Kids Heart Challenge—an exciting opportunity to promote heart health, physical activity, and healthy habits among our students.
Our district is looking forward to this partnership and to having our schools participate in the Kids Heart Challenge this February in celebration of American Heart Month! Together, we can inspire our students and families to make healthy choices while supporting an important cause.
We’re excited for what’s ahead and grateful for the opportunity to partner with the American Heart Association to help our students build stronger, healthier hearts! 💗
