📣 Secondary Student Advisory Council

On Monday, our Secondary Student Advisory Council met with Superintendent Dr. Jason Atkinson and Deputy Superintendent Ms. Ann Brown, to share their perspectives on what’s working well in their schools and the challenges they see.

These student leaders represent voices from across our middle and high schools, and provide valuable feedback that helps shape the student experience. The council meetings also give students an opportunity to ask questions, offer suggestions, and see leadership in action.

💚 Recognizing World Mental Health Day 💚 On Friday, we wore green in recognition of World Mental Health Day — a reminder that caring for our mental health is an important part of caring for ourselves and one another. This year’s theme focuses on the importance of mental health care during and after times of crisis, but its message extends far beyond emergencies. Every day, we can take steps to build supportive, compassionate communities where everyone feels valued and heard. Thank you to our staff for helping raise awareness and showing that it’s okay to talk about mental health — and to ask for help when it’s needed. 💚
